Interview with Holistic Health Coach, Mounira Assoul, Author of “The Inflowfit Method”



Mounira Assoul, or "Mimi" as she's known in the health world, is a health and fitness coach, based in London, England. I sat down with her last week to discuss how she first got started on her holistic health journey, her career, her new book The Inflowfit Method, and all about how you can take back your health and learn a holistic approach to living a healthier and happier lifestyle.

In our interview, Mimi explained how she's always been passionate about health and fitness. She said, "I've always been very active as an individual, and I personally consider health and fitness, and wellbeing in general, as true wealth. So it's quite close to my heart. I'm very curious about the human body, the way it moves, and its ability to heal and recover very quickly, given the right conditions.


"So that sparked in me the desire to search more and find out more. So for sure, it's fascinating; the human body is probably one of the most fascinating. Funny enough, the more you discover, the more you think, 'Oh, I'm only touching the surface here.' It's a lot deeper. It's a never-ending process by the way. Never-ending."

While Mimi knew she always wanted to pursue health and wellness, in 2010, her passion became a reality. She recalled attending an MMA fight session at one of the health clubs she frequented at the time. Mimi said she was always so energetic and excited during the class, so much so that the class instructor, Michelle Reese, told her that she should consider teaching a class. Slowly, Mimi began learning more about the human body and how to train others to prioritize their health, and by 2012, she was working as a fitness coach and instructor.

While Mimi's been working as a health and fitness coach for over a decade, her expertise and desire to help others lead a healthy lifestyle inspired her to start her business Inflowfit, where she provides personalized holistic health coaching and training (among other services). Mimi explained that during the pandemic, at the beginning of 2020, she was fortunate enough to be one of the favored instructors at her health club. She had so many people ask her about moving to an online platform in order for them to stay active despite all the gyms shutting down.


Mimi was never idol during the pandemic, making new courses for her clients, researching more about holistic health, studying eating psychology, and even writing a book.


In addition to specializing in habit changing, fat loss, and resistance training in order to gain healthy muscle mass and bone density, Mimi is also a pilates instructor, holistic health coach, and eating psychology coach.

After researching more about eating psychology and realizing everyone's unhealthy relationship with food, Mimi had the desire to do more research in order to better help her clients. While still working as a coach and instructor, Mimi decided to write a book about the method she uses with all her clients, teaching others how to maintain a sustainable, balanced, and holistic lifestyle. After three years of research and almost a year of writing and publishing, in the summer of 2022, Mimi released her book, The Inflowfit Method.


The Inflowfit Method represents a unique holistic approach to fitness and well-being. Mimi’s work helps her clients and readers unlearn unhealthy habits, changing their approach to staying fit and healthy.


Mimi's book takes four easy components of holistic health-- sleep, stress, hydration, and breathing-- and urges her clients to focus on these things in order to see long-term, sustainable health changes. Check it out on Amazon.
